Syrian basketball teams loses to its Kazakh counterpart 71-81 in World Cup Qualifiers

The Syrian national basketball team lost to  Kazakh guest 71-81 in a match that was held at al-Fayha Sports Hall in Damascus within the first window of the Basketball World Cup qualifiers.

 

The match comes after 10-year suspension from hosting international matches on the Syrian land.

 

The Syrian team lost to Kazakhstan in the first leg of tournament by 74/84 in Nur-Sultan last Friday.

 

Syria plays in Group D along with Iran, Kazakhtan and Bahrain.
