Syrian national football team beats Lebanese counterpart in the World Cup qualifiers

The Syrian national football team beat its Lebanese counterpart 3-0 in the match that brought them together on Thursday at Sidon Stadium in Lebanon within the World Cup qualifiers.

The Syrian team scored the first goal through Aladdin Al-Dali in the 14th minute, while the second goal was scored through a penalty goal from Mardik Mardekian in the 38th minute, while Mohamed Marmor scored the third one in the 44th minute.

The Syrian national team raised its points to five in the first group of the decisive round of the qualifiers.

It lost its chance to qualify for the World Cup finals of Qatar.
