Temperatures to drop, cold weather at night

Temperatures will drop in the northern and al-Jazeera areas to become below average, while they will remain around or slightly higher than average in the other regions as the country is affected by a superficial low air pressure coming from the southeastern direction and accompanied by northwestern air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.

Meteorology Department, in its Wednesday bulletin, said that the skies will be clear to partly cloudy in general and the weather will be cold at night, warning from formation of the fogs during  the  early morning over the central region and  the Ghouta of Damascus.

The winds will be western to northwestern with a low to moderate in speed and the sea waves will be low in height.

The expected temperatures in some main Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 27/15, Homs 26/13, Hasaka 28/12, Tartous 29/20, Aleppo 27/14, Deir Ezzor 30/17.
