Damascus, SANA- Speaker of the People’s Assembly, Hammoudeh Sabbagh, affirmed that the terrorist war against Syria aimed at undermining its steadfast positions in support of the struggle of the Palestinian Arab people and their legitimate right to restore their lands and build their independent state with al-Quds as its capital.
During his meeting with the Deputy Secretary-General of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, Jamil Mezher, and his accompanying delegation, Sabbagh added that the unipolar policy in the world has ended on Syrian territory thanks to the steadfastness of its people and the sacrifices of its army.
For his part, Mezher said that Syria was and still is the beating heart of Arabism and the first supporter of the Palestinian cause, despite all the conspiracies it was exposed, adding that the steadfastness of the Syrians contributed greatly to strengthening the struggle of the Palestinians in the face of the Israeli occupation.
