The President of the Republic stressed the need to pay attention to the poor and low-income segments, to provide them with all the required support, to facilitate procedures to including them in the social welfare network, to provide job opportunities for the unemployed, to take care of students, and to support small projects and the private sector that would create job opportunities.
According to the statement, the President touched on the positive developments taking place in Iraqi cities, especially in establishing security and stability and improving the reality of services, stressing the need to invest in the current safe situation and develop it to serve the citizens.
The President of the Republic pointed out the importance of providing the best services and facilities to ensure the completion of citizens’ transactions as soon as possible, and to work on strategies to eradicate poverty.
For his part, the Minister of Labor expressed his thanks and appreciation for the directives of the President of the Republic, reviewing the workflow of the Ministry and the future plans set to develop performance and achieve the desired goals.
The minister also stressed the importance of amending the draft social security law, which would help many citizens to engage in the private sector, and the importance of including them.
Al-Asadi added that the ministry has a program to carry out field visits to see the suffering of citizens in all governorates and reduce the burden on them.
