1978 — Kuwait Amir Sheikh Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah signed a decree-into-law approving Kuwait’s joining of the “convention on recognition and execution of foreign arbitrators’ verdicts,” issued in New York on June 10, 1958.

2007 — Kuwait Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah decorated South Korean President Roh Moo-hyun with the Order of Mubarak the Great in admiration of his pivotal role in bolstering bilateral relations between the two countries.

2014 — The 25th Arab Summit wrapped up, issuing “Kuwait Declaration” themed “Bolstering Arab solidarity to achieve comprehensive Arab development.” Issues such as Palestine, Syria, Yemen and Libya have been highlighted in the declaration.
