Turkish regime’s mercenaries cut down hundreds of olive trees in Afrin

Turkish occupation mercenaries of terrorist organizations cut down hundreds of fruitful and forest trees in Afrin area in Aleppo northern countryside over the past few days to be sold to Turkish merchants.

 

“Terrorists affiliated to the so-called Sultan Murad, Jaysh al-Nukhba (Elite Army) Ahrar al-Sharqiya, Hamza Division ,and al-Jabha al-Shamiya cut hundreds of fruitful and forest trees in Midankey‎, Hammam, Marwaniyah, Miska, Tatara, Teranda, Ayn al-Hajar and Ester villages, in  Afrin area in Aleppo northern countryside, local sources told SANA.

 

The authorities of the Turkish regime facilitated the process of cutting the trees in preparation for their transfer to the Turkish lands to sell them later to Turkish merchants who work in the timber trade, the sources added.

 

People of Afrin condemned the criminal acts of Turkish occupation’s mercenaries against the civilians subjected to harassment to leave their homes and lands.
