US Ambassador to Cyprus Julie Fisher met with Finance Minister of Cyprus Makis Keravnos with whom she discussed the Cypriot economy and bilateral cooperation as well as the sanctions on Russia following the invasion of Ukraine.
Ambassador Fisher said in a twitter post that a prosperous Cypriot economy has benefits for the transatlantic community and the region.
She added that she discussed cooperation and strong Cyprus economic performance with Minister Keravnos, and how the sanctions of US, EU and Great Britain are imposing costs on Russia for its unlawful war against Ukraine.
