RAMALLAH: Weather today in Palestine is mostly cloudy and cool, maintaining a moderate feel during the day and relative coolness in the evening, especially in mountainous areas.

Winds are light and blow from the southeast, and the sea is expected to have gentle waves.

Tonight, the weather is predicted to be partly cloudy to clear, with relatively cool conditions, particularly in mountainous regions.

Tomorrow, Monday, is expected to see a return of partly cloudy to clear skies, accompanied by a slight drop in temperature. The weather will remain moderate during the day and relatively cool at night, with scattered rain showers expected in some regions during the night.

As the country gets influenced by a low-pressure system on an approaching Tuesday, the weather is expected to become partly cloudy to cloudy, occasionally dusty. A tangible drop in temperatures is expected, resulting in a colder atmosphere.

Rainfall, occasionally accompanied by thunderstorms, is expected on Wednesday starting in northern and
central regions during the morning and spreading to other areas in the evening.

The influence of the low-pressure system will persist into Wednesday, bringing partly cloudy to cloudy conditions. Cool temperatures will prevail, and widespread rainfall, coupled with occasional thunderstorms, is predicted across most regions, indicating continued weather instability.

Amman: Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi met with Belgian Foreign Minister Hadja Lahbib, whose country presides over the current EU rotating presidency, Cypriot Foreign Minister Constantinos Kombos, and European Union (EU) High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell in Brussels on Sunday.

The meetings discussed the latest developments in the Gaza Strip and efforts to forge a strong and effective international stance to end the war and the suffering and humanitarian catastrophe it is causing.

In the meetings, Safadi stressed the need for Israel to comply with international law and humanitarian law, as well as the international will calling for an end to the war.

He also called for protecting civilians and ensuring the delivery of adequate and sustainable humanitarian assistance to all parts of the Strip.

Safadi also underlined the need for an immediate and permanent ceasefire and the Kingdom’s absolute rejection of the displacement of Palestinians within their homeland or abroad.

e reaffirmed that just and comprehensive peace on the basis of a two-state solution is the only way to protect the region from escalating conflict and to ensure security and peace for Palestinians, Israelis, and the region as a whole.

Safadi will also participate in a meeting of the EU Foreign Affairs Council on Monday, along with the foreign ministers of Saudi Arabia and Egypt. He will also meet with a number of his counterparts who are participating in the meeting.
