Damascus, SANA- Father Elias Zahlawi stated that Syria has suffered extreme circumstances as a result of West relentless schemes; yet, the Syrian people have withstood years of war on the country despite the economic, military and psychometric instruments.

‘All people across the Syrian territories offered humanitarian response and quickly mobilized to rescue the lives of their brothers in the catastrophic quake. This is clear evidence of the most evolved form of humanitarianism, the intellectual, spiritual,’ Father Zahlawi said.

He indicated that Syria is in dire need for its people to stand shoulder to shoulder in the face of all obstacles and overcome the past mistakes exploited by the West and enemies of the nation to achieve their ends.

In any event, we believe in a peaceful future to come through reconstruction and perfect amity amongst mankind.
