PM witnesses signing establishing Bedouin Village protocol

Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli witnessed Wednesday the signing ceremony of a cooperation protocol between the Ministry of Social Solidarity and South Sinai Governorate on the establishment of a Bedouin heritage village in Sharm el-Sheikh.

In statements following the signing ceremony, the prime minister said the agreement came in line with directives of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi to press ahead with promoting the development wheel in Sinai; being a key world tourist destination bustling with distinguished types of tourism.

Minister of Social Solidarity Nivine Kabbaj and South Sinai Governor Khaled Fouda signed the agreement for their sides.

For her part, the minister of social solidarity said her ministry will fully contribute to all efforts meant to upgrade the Red Sea resort city and serve its inhabitants in the various sectors.

Meantime, the South Sinai governor said the set to be Bedouin Heritage village would contribute to development efforts in the governorate, with a view to preserving the governorate’s Bedouin nature, especially that the governorate is gearing up to host the upcoming UN Climate Change Conference 2022 (UNCCC) COP27, set for Sharm el-Sheikh, in Nov.
