Aid from Italy and the European Union arrives at Beirut port for quake affected in Syria

Damascus,SANA-An Italian ship carrying aid from Italy and the European Union arrived at the port of Beirut on friday for those affected by the earthquake that hit Syria on the 6th of current month.

 

The Syrian Arab Red Crescent stated in a post on its official Facebook page that it will transport the cargo of the Lebanese Red Cross ship to deliver it across the border to the Syrian Red Crescent in the presence of the Chargé d’Affairs of the Italian Embassy, Massimiliano Dantono, and the Director of the Office of the General Directorate of European Civil Protection and Humanitarian Aid Operations in Syria, Luigi Pandolfi.

 

An Italian military plane arrived at Beirut International Airport on the 11th of this February carrying medical aid for quake affected people.
