Emigration Ministry: Exams for Egyptian students returning from Ukraine to start Monday

The Ministry of Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates Affairs said exams for Egyptian students returning home in the wake of Russian-Ukranian crisis will start Monday.

According to a statement Sunday by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Egyptian students – wishing to join the Faculty of Medicine Cairo University, Faculty of Dentistry Ain Shams University and Faculty of Engineering Ain Shams University – who submitted their papers to the ministry, during the period between (March 14 – March 24), will sit for exams as of Monday.

Students will take the exams to determine their abilities and disciplines in which they will continue their studies, the statement said.

Some 1,270 Egyptian students coming back from Ukraine have filled out a government form to transfer to private and national Egyptian universities, it added.

All measures are meant to facilitate on Egyptian students back home due to the Ukranian-Russian conflict, in line with President Abdel Fattah El Sisi’s directives, according to the statement.

Meantime, the Egyptian embassy in Ukraine
called on Egyptian students enrolled in universities there and facing difficulties regarding withdrawing their files or obtaining documents and exam records on their prior enrollment in Ukranian universities to send their data on the link:
