Russian Deputy Minister of Defense, Lieutenant-General Alexander Fomin, received this Wednesday in Moscow the Special Representative of Prime Minister-designate Saad Hariri, George Shaaban.
“The Russian Ministry of Defense pointed out, in a statement, that the current conditions in Lebanon and the Middle East were discussed during the meeting. The issue of the return of displaced Syrians to their country was also tackled. The, which was held in an atmosphere of friendship, saw the two sides emphasizing the need to for constant communication and cooperation,” according to a statement by the media office of the PM-designate.
