Irrigation min.: Ministry exerting efforts to secure water

Irrigation and Water Resources Mohamed Abdel Ati said the ministry is exerting non-stop efforts with all bodies concerned to secure water needs in order to achieve sustainable development.

He made the remarks on Sunday during a meeting of the Permanent Committee for Regulating the River Nile Revenue via video-conference.

During the meeting, Abdel Ati reviewed canal cleansing efforts in various governorates to ensure the efficiency of sanitation networks, highlighting the importance of securing water needs for the agricultural season during the summer.

He also tackled the measures taken by the ministry to confront the flashflood season.
