Brussels – Jordan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Ayman Safadi, met with Belgian Foreign Minister Hadja Lahbib in Brussels. This meeting occurred on the sidelines of King Abdullah’s visit to the city, focusing on the crisis in Gaza and efforts to end the war.

According to Jordan News Agency, Safadi expressed gratitude to Belgium for supporting the resolution presented by Jordan on behalf of the Arab Group to the UN General Assembly. The resolution emphasized ending the war in Gaza, protecting civilians, and upholding legal and humanitarian obligations.

During the meeting, Safadi stressed the necessity of halting the ongoing war in Gaza, highlighting the humanitarian catastrophe it has caused. He emphasized the urgency of delivering humanitarian aid to the Palestinians in the Strip, reflecting the critical conditions faced by the population there.
