The prisoners swap operation has been completed with release of 104 Houthi POWs’ who had been held by the coalition, Colonel Turki Al-Maliki, the official spokesperson of the coalition for supporting the legitimacy in Yemen said on Monday.
Col. Al-Maliki in a statement broadcast by the official Saudi Press Agency said the prisoners were set free in line with the kingdom humanitarian initiatives, also aimed at maintaining the truce and preparing the atmosphere for dialogue among the Yemen parties to find a sustainable settlement to the Yemeni crisis.
He indicated that the release of the last batch of the prisoners had been coordinated with the International Committee of the Red Crescent and that they were dispatched to Sanaa today
