Minister: Agriculture ministry participates in implementing Decent Life initiative

Minister of Agriculture and Land Reclamation El Sayyed Qusseir said his ministry participates in implementing the national project for developing the Egyptian countryside “Decent Life” initiative launched by President Abdel Fattah El Sisi at a cost of more than EGP 700 billion.

In a statement on Saturday 19/02/2022, the minister added that the initiative is among the key projects that were hailed by international institutions thanks to its social dimension which helps achieve the sustainable development goals and alleviates the burden shouldered by citizens in the neediest societies.

Qusseir said his ministry will provide all services to the farmers through establishing agricultural service complexes according to the requirements of the targeted villages.

The ministry will also allocate land plots for the public benefit projects in the villages covered by the initiative, provide all services and research studies needed for all lands and launch convoys offering veterinary services, he added.
