PM inspects renovation of Amr ibn Al A’as Mosque

Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli has inspected the renovation process of the Amr ibn Al A’as Mosque and surrounding areas in Cairo.

Accompanied by Housing Minister Assem el Gazzar and Cairo Governor Khaled Abdel Aal, the premier said his inspection tour comes as part of continued follow-up of cultural projects being established in Old Cairo.

Madbouli further issued directives to rapidly finalize the renovation of the mosque as a main entrance to the Fustat Park, which is currently being revamped.

He also pressed for maintaining the civilized image of the mosque as per directives of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi.
