JENIN: Six Palestinian civilians, including four brothers, were killed in an Israeli drone strike early this morning in the northern West Bank city of Jenin, according to local and medical sources.

In an official statement, the Ministry of Health said the four siblings, Hazza’, 27, Rami, 22, Ahmed, 24, and Alaa Najeh Darwish, 29, in addition to Razqallah Nabil Sleiman, 18, and Mohammad Yasser As’ous were killed in the Israeli airstrike.

The six, including the four brothers, are residents of the village of Muthallath ash-Shuhada in the Jenin province.

Additionally, another young man from the village sustained severe injuries in the Israeli strike.

The unfortunate incident followed an incursion by Israeli occupation forces into Jenin last night, leading to confrontations with local youth in various areas of the city.

Amman: The Israeli Soroka Hospital in Beersheba said on Sunday evening that it has received 8 Israeli soldiers who were injured in the Gaza battles over the previous 24 hours.

“Since the start of the conflict, 2,478 soldiers have been wounded, 14 of them critically, and we are currently treating 35 soldiers,” a hospital statement added.
