Syria, Russia sign agreement on sports cooperation

Moscow, SANA-Syria and Russia signed agreement on sports cooperation until 2024.

Russian Sports Minister Oleg Matytsin and head of the General Sports Federation, Firas Mualla signed the agreement at the international sports forum “Russia – A Sports Power,” which is being held in Moscow.

The agreement includes holding joint sports activities  in  boxing, judo, karate, weightlifting, swimming, tennis, basketball, wrestling, athletics and football.

The agreement also stipulated on cooperation between universities in sports field.
