Syrian-Belarusian talks to enhance cooperation in construction and housing sector

Minister of Public Works and Housing, Suhail Abdullatif, discussed on Tuesday with Belarusian Architecture and Construction Minister, Ruslan Parkhamovich, possible opportunities of cooperation in the fields of housing and reconstruction.

During the meeting, Minister Abdullatif said it is very important to reach an agreement with the Belarussian side to boost cooperation in a way that would enable Syria to benefit from the capabilities that Belarus possesses in the field of construction and housing.

Later, the Syrian delegation visited BELAZ factory for the production of Engineering Trucks located near Minsk.

BelAZ is a Belarusian automobile plant and one of the world’s largest manufacturers of large and especially large dump trucks, as well as other heavy transport equipment for the mining and construction industries.
