Transport min. launches public transportation services in Sohag

Transport Minister Kamel el Wazir has unveiled a comprehensive plan to secure sustainable green transport services that would connect capitals of governorates.

 

Speaking Sunday while inaugurating passenger transport lines in Sohag, Wazir said that launching this public service today is only phase one of the plan to build a safe, comfortable and advanced transport system, that is also economical for residents of this Upper Egyptian city.

 

The minister inspected mass transit buses parked outside the Sohag city hall and congratulated residents on the launch of public transportation services for the first time in the Upper Egyptian city.

 

This is part of State efforts to secure a decent life for citizens and provide efficient daily services, he noted.
